Frequently Asked Questions

How do I administer a test?
Browse tests by Categories on the menu above or click on categories in the Browse by Category box to the left. Click on the test you would like to purchase and enter the name and email address of the test taker. The test will be placed in the Exam Folder; the test taker will be notified when you complete the order.

Can I designate others in my company to administer tests?
Yes, by setting up Additional Administrators.

Can I get a printed copy of a VMBhits test including the questions and possible answers?
In order to maintain test bank security and copyright protection, this option is not offered.  Providing all of the questions and answers in one easily-transmitted document compromises the integrity of this testing system. No reproduction of test materials is allowed in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical.

How is the security of the test guaranteed? What if my job candidate has already taken the test before?
Each VMBhits test is actually a series of exams with different questions in random order. The odds are high that a repeat test taker will be assigned a different version of the test when he or she takes the test for a second or third time. In general, the person being tested has to know the subject in order to answer the questions correctly.

What if I forget the Test Taker ID I assigned when I purchased a test?
If you are a test administrator and cannot remember the TestTaker ID you assigned, go to Customer Service menu, select Testing Status/History and view the list of tests you have administered, most recent first. The ID is listed as the second line in the Test Taker column. If the test has not been started yet, you can click on the link to Edit Test Taker information.

How can I resend a test to a Test Taker?
If your test taker did not receive the test (for example, their email address was entered incorrectly) you can resend the test.

  • Click on My Testing and select Test Status/History.
  • Locate order in question from the list of orders.
  • In the Test Taker column click on the Edit test taker information link.
  • In the Test Taker section ensure the email address for the test taker is correct and does not contain typos.
  • From the delivery dropdown select E-mail Link to Test Taker.
  • Click the save button.

How does VMBhits charge for its service?
